The Whakatane Philatelic Society is open and welcoming to anyone with an interest in stamps and philately. Established in 1946 and part of the NZPF Northern Region, the club provides a friendly setting for collectors at all levels to meet and share their passion. Where to Find Us

The club is based in Whakatāne, a coastal town in the Bay of Plenty known for its community spirit and scenic surroundings. Meetings take place at the A W Fletcher-Cole Hall, 15 Mcgarvey Road, Whakatane on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month except January, starting at 7:00pm. This regular schedule makes it straightforward for locals and visitors to attend and become involved.

The society maintains a small reference library of catalogues and books that members can consult during meetings or borrow for personal use. An annual inter-club meeting held late March or April with clubs from Waikato and Tauranga adds further opportunities for connection and exchange.
