• Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and cookies used to keep you signed in and to understand aggregate traffic patterns.
• Communications: messages you send us by email or through forms (including club claim requests).

• Provide and secure the service (including authentication and dashboards).
• Create or sign you into your NZ Clubs account when you use Google Sign-In, using only the email and basic profile data Google provides for that purpose.
• Show club listings to visitors as intended by the listing owner.
• Respond to enquiries and improve the site’s usability and reliability.
• Meet legal obligations and protect users against fraud or abuse.

When you sign in with Google, nzclubs.co.nz requests the email and profile scopes. We use that Google user data solely to authenticate you and populate your account name and avatar. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties except as needed to operate authentication (for example our hosting provider processing data on our instructions).

If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests (running a safe directory and improving the product), and consent where we ask for it (for example optional marketing). You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that already occurred.
