The Tri Star Gymnastics Story
Tri Star Gymnastics plays a vital role in Auckland's sporting scene as a cornerstone club dedicated to fostering talent and passion for gymnastics. Established in 1988, it emerged from the merger of three longstanding Central Auckland gymnastic clubs—St Mary’s, Mt Roskill, and Onehunga Gymnastic Clubs—that trace their roots to the 1950s. This rich heritage has shaped Tri Star into a hub for recreational and competitive gymnastics programs, open to everyone from pre-schoolers to adults.
Our club supports diverse gymnastics codes, providing structured pathways that encourage progression from beginner levels to elite competition. Over the years, Tri Star has proudly developed numerous athletes who have represented New Zealand at Commonwealth Games, World Championships, and the Olympics. We also nurture coaches and technical officials, ensuring the sport's growth and high standards in the region. Whether you're seeking fun, fitness, or a shot at competitive success, Tri Star Gymnastics offers a supportive environment to achieve your goals and become part of our enduring story.
