Plimmerton Croquet Club
Our Club has over 70 members playing golf croquet, association croquet, ricochet and occasionally speed ball. We have four croquet lawns bordered by beautiful gardens. Croquet can be played by men and women of all ages on an even footing. It is a game that combines skill with strategy in equal measure. Plimmerton welcomes members from teenagers through to 90+ years. Visitors from other croquet clubs are welcome. Visitors fees are $5 per half day (including refreshments) and there are club mallets available. Our lawns are open year round with the main playing season running from September to May. We cater for players looking for a social game through to the highly competitive. If you are new to croquet, please refer to website. We are located in Plimmerton Drive, just off Ulric Street (see map below). The club is only a short walk from Plimmerton Village, the beach and railway station. Plimmerton is around 25km north of Wellington.Croquet lawns are open all year with the main playing season being between September and May. Coaching is available for new players. Club is situated near Palmer's Garden Centre, State Highway 59. Fee structure Annual subscription - $350 but this is reduced if a person joins part-way through a season. Visitors $5 per day with refreshments included. Club mallets are also available.
