New Plymouth Bridge Club. We are a thriving club of some 300 members with our own premises at 70 Hobson Street, close to the city's northern entrance, near New Plymouth Boys' High School. Our members range in age from 15 to 90+ years. Playing bridge is a great way for people of all ages to gather together. If you like cards, age becomes irrelevant. Our mission is to provide an enjoyable bridge playing experience for all levels of players and to encourage all players to further develop their skills in a friendly, competitive and challenging social atmosphere. Bridge is played from mid-January until mid-December. Sessions are on Monday afternoons, some Monday evenings, Tuesday, Wednesday (day and evening), Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons. We welcome all visiting and prospective new players. Visitors should note that some sessions have playing restrictions limiting ability for walk in play. In the case of teams and Swiss Pairs walk in play is not possible. Some Wednesday and Thursdays there are playing restriction based on your NZCBA rating points - the convener will ask you about rating if applicable. If you would like to join our club, please complete the Membership Form and email it to newplymouthbridgeclub@gmail.com We have ample parking within 50 metres of the club room door.
