Nelson Philatelic Society

Your Guide to Nelson Philatelic Society

The Nelson Philatelic Society offers a warm and friendly atmosphere for stamp collectors in the Nelson region. Since 1954 the society has brought together people who share a passion for philately, creating a supportive community where both newcomers and experienced collectors feel at home. Members enjoy regular opportunities to discuss stamps, exchange ideas and take part in activities designed to enhance their collecting experience.

The society maintains strong ties with the New Zealand Philatelic Federation as part of the Southern Region. This connection helps members stay informed about wider philatelic events while enjoying the close-knit feel of a local club. Activities include stamp discussions, a popular letter of the month segment, special topics, business matters and sales, all within a relaxed setting that encourages participation.
