Welcome to Mercury Bay Gymnastics Club We want to create a safe and stimulating environment where your children can learn all about the exciting world of gymnastics and have loads of fun doing it. We follow a program that emphasises the “activity of gymnastics” with the focus being the development of awareness and competency within the six dominant movement patterns fundamental to all gymnastics skills. Every week your child will be introduced to varying fun activities involving all the apparatus such as beam, bar, vault and floor. Participation will always be encouraged but never forced; we want to develop confidence not fear. Every week they will remain with their coach, in their group of children and will move from activity to activity with that group. The Mercury Bay Gymnastics Club is back up and running offering sessions for 5-11 year olds that are facilitated by our great gymnastics coaches and are packed full of fun and learning FUN FITNESS & FUNDAMENTALS The Mercury Bay Gymnastics Club is a great way to introduce your child to a variety of basic gymnastic skills while having fun! Every week they will be placed in a small group of children and will move from activity to activity with that group. We cater for age group 5 - 11 years old and our sessions are from 4.00pm - 5.30pm on Monday's at Mercury Bay Area School Hall.

Participation is always encouraged but never forced, helping to build confidence rather than fear. Our gymnastics coaches facilitate these packed sessions, creating a safe and stimulating space where kids can learn, play, and grow in fundamental fitness and skills.
This approach ensures a structured yet playful experience, with varying activities each week to keep things fresh and engaging. Whether tumbling on the floor or balancing on the beam, children discover the joy of gymnastics in a supportive setting tailored to their age group.

Mercury Bay Gymnastics Club is located at 20 South Highway, East, Whitianga 3510, in the Waikato region of New Zealand. The sessions take place in the welcoming hall of Mercury Bay Area School, providing a spacious and secure indoor environment ideal for active gymnastics pursuits.
