Your Guide to Heaven Bent Gospel Choir

Heaven Bent Gospel Choir brings people together through the shared joy of singing. As an auditioned community choir established in 1996, it creates opportunities for members to form lasting friendships while exploring rich vocal traditions. The group focuses on a cappella music drawn from the African American gospel tradition, alongside modern African, Maori and other Pacific influences. This creates a distinctive sound that appeals to those who enjoy expressive, harmony-rich performances. The choir regularly presents concerts and is available for events, making it a meaningful part of Auckland’s arts scene.
