Cantemus Community Choir is a friendly group that brings together singers from across Auckland. Established in 1990, the unauditioned SATB choir performs a varied repertoire of secular and religious music, spanning composers from Bach through to the Beatles and Rutter. Members appreciate the relaxed yet committed environment where people from different parts of the city can share their enjoyment of choral singing. The choir maintains a steady schedule that suits those looking for regular involvement without the pressure of auditions.

About the Venue

Rehearsals are held at St Luke's Church in the Newmarket and Remuera area of Auckland. This central location makes it convenient for members travelling from various suburbs. The setting provides a comfortable space for weekly gatherings, with supper included as part of each Monday evening session.
