Waiheke Island Choral Society

The Waiheke Island Choral Society Story

The Waiheke Island Choral Society runs as a community-based choir focused on group singing. Typical activities centre on weekly rehearsals where members gather to sing together. Sessions are held every Tuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm at the Waiheke Musical Museum. The club is open to enthusiastic singers and does not require auditions or the ability to read music, so participants can join and take part straight away.

This approach suits people who want to sing in a group setting without formal entry requirements. Rehearsals provide a regular opportunity to practise and perform with others in a straightforward, community-focused way.
