From 1 August 2025, the Upper Hutt Roller Skating Club has moved to St Patrick’s College (old Gym) in Silverstream. The wooden gym floor is ideal for both Kiwi Skate and competitive training. We’re incredibly grateful to St Pat’s for welcoming us into their space! Kiwi Skate will continue on Tuesdays and Saturdays We are running our Kiwi Skate programme at St Patrick’s College – Silverstream, in the old gym during term time: Tuesdays Early Birds – 5.30pm – 6.00pm Tui – 5.30pm – 6pm Kereru – 6.00pm – 6.30pm Moa – 6.30pm – 7.00pm Squad – 7.00pm -7.30pm Adults – 7.30pm – 8.30pm Saturdays Saturdays will be split into two different sessions. Beginners (up to Kereru) 1.30pm -2.15pm Intermediate (Kereru to Adults) 2.15pm – 3.00pm Cost Join us for introductory free lessons (3x for kids, 1x for adults) $145 per term (including skate hire if needed) Adult concession cards available upon request. Skating Sessions for Everyone
Our club offers a comprehensive schedule through the Kiwi Skate programme, running during term time with sessions tailored to various skill levels. Tuesdays feature a packed timetable from 5.30pm to 8.30pm, with groups like Early Birds, Tui, Kereru, Moa, Squad, and dedicated Adult classes. On Saturdays, we split into two sessions: Beginners (up to Kereru) skate from 1.30pm to 2.15pm, while Intermediate skaters (Kereru to Adults) take the floor from 2.15pm to 3.00pm. Affordable Fun on Wheels
Getting started with us is easy and budget-friendly. We offer introductory free lessons—three for children and one for adults—to give you a taste of the sport. Term fees are set at $145, which includes skate hire if you don’t have your own gear. Adults can also opt for concession cards upon request, ensuring flexibility for regular participants.
