As a branch of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters, the club operates under the call sign ZL1IB and provides support through qualified repeater operators and exam supervisors. Clubrooms are open every Saturday afternoon from 1330 to 1600 hours, giving members and visitors a regular time to gather, share knowledge, and work on radio projects in a dedicated local setting.

Our Home Ground

Based in Paengaroa, the club uses the Rear Paengaroa Community Hall for its business meetings, held on the second Saturday of each month except January at 1330 hours. This central Bay of Plenty location makes it straightforward for people from Te Puke and surrounding areas to attend. The annual general meeting takes place on the second Saturday of April, providing a clear yearly rhythm for members to stay involved and plan club activities.
