The RSA was originally an organisation which supported Returned Service people in the community. It continues this role but has extended it to people in the community as associate members for social contact and general support.  In Te Kuiti people gather at the local Waitomo Club for formal occasions i.e meetings or individual social contact. The Waitomo Club rooms has a games room, bar and  restaurant.  Has welfare grants for Returned Service personnel. Operates a Women's Division
