Why Tauranga Photographic Society

The Tauranga Photographic Society provides a range of activities and opportunities for photography enthusiasts in the Bay of Plenty. Members attend structured meetings that include informal gatherings followed by presentations and image evaluations. The club runs monthly GOYA outings and takes part in national inter-club competitions through its affiliation with PSNZ. These activities support skill development and regular interaction with other photographers.

Location and Directions

The society meets at The Art and Craft Centre in Tauranga, a central location for local photographers. Meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month from February to November, beginning informally at 7:00pm with the main programme starting at 7:30pm and finishing around 9:30pm. GOYA outings take place on the first Saturday after the first club night of the month at Palmers Garden Centre in Bethlehem.
