The Tauranga City AFC Story
Tauranga City AFC has been part of the Bay of Plenty football scene since 1967. The club fields junior, youth and senior teams for both men and women, giving players of different ages and abilities the chance to train and compete locally. It participates in Northern League and National League structures and holds accreditation for NZ Football Talent Development Programmes, supporting structured player development during school terms.
Venue Details
The club has been based at Links Avenue in Mount Maunganui since the 2000 merger. This location serves as the home ground for training and matches. Teams train mid-week and play on Saturdays during the winter season, which runs from early April. Registrations open in January, with pre-season beginning mid-February.
