Sunny Side Up

All About Sunny Side Up

Sunny Side Up provides a supportive environment for singers to develop their skills through ensemble singing. The choir focuses on American gospel, world traditions, rock and soul music, with all pieces performed unaccompanied and from memory. It is open to all singers and particularly encourages men to join. The group is not church-aligned, allowing members to focus purely on the music and shared enjoyment of these traditions.

The Setting

Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening during term time at the Dunedin South Presbyterian Church hall in South Dunedin. This central Otago location offers easy access for singers from across Dunedin and provides a practical space for regular group practice.
