Rosetown Choristers

The Rosetown Choristers Story

The Rosetown Choristers play a valued role in the Te Awamutu arts and social scene as an un-auditioned community choir. Open to singers of varying experience, the group focuses on bringing people together through regular weekly rehearsals and public performances. With a straightforward approach that removes the barrier of auditions, the choir attracts those who simply enjoy singing and contributing to the local community.

Typically the choir prepares two concerts each year. These events give members the chance to share their music while raising funds for local causes, including the Te Awamutu Foodbank. The emphasis remains on participation and enjoyment rather than competition or high-pressure performance standards.
