Membership is open to Retirees, both men and women, who wish to keep minds active, expand interests and enjoy the conviviality of new friends and acquaintances. Meet every 3rd Wednesday at 10 am in the Bridge Club, Pine Avenue. The first part of the meeting is used for any formal business and a short talk before morning tea which is taken between 10.30 and 11.00am. This is an opportunity to socialise and meet other members. There is then a talk by an external Guest Speaker until about 11.45 am when the meeting closes. They have a number of Interest Groups that are run separately from their main Club programme. Prospective members are required to attend three meetings before applying for membership.
