Parihaka Waka Ama Inc - Whangarei is a thriving waka ama club in Northland, established in 2007 and now one of the region's largest and fastest-growing sports communities. We prioritise safe, enjoyable participation with low club fees and fun paddling experiences. Our coaching supports everyone from social paddlers to international competitors, covering all aspects of waka ama with a strong safety focus. We also bring waka ama into schools, making this traditional Māori canoe sport accessible to all in Whangārei.
