The Oamaru Lions Club is a dedicated service club in Oamaru, Otago, committed to community service and fundraising across New Zealand, Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, and Fiji. As part of Lions Clubs New Zealand, we focus on impactful projects like erecting the Elderslie Gate stone pillar at Centennial Park, installing a heli-pad at Oamaru Hospital, and building the pirate boat at the harbour playground. Our efforts also include sponsoring youth for Outward Bound, supporting dementia care at Iona with a tunnel house, and hosting the Waitaki Lions Club Speech Contest. Join us in strengthening local communities through hands-on service.
