Join the NZ Alpine Club (Southland), a welcoming community of mountaineers, rock climbers, and outdoor enthusiasts in Southland. Established in 1891, we promote mountaineering, rock climbing, and allied activities while championing the enjoyment and conservation of stunning mountain regions. Our section evenings, held on the third Tuesday of every second month at 7:30 pm in Invercargill, bring together like-minded individuals. Non-members are warmly invited to attend, making it easy to connect with fellow adventurers passionate about tramping and alpine pursuits in New Zealand's rugged landscapes.
