With nine exceptional lawns and top-tier facilities, including cozy club rooms and a full kitchen, we’re proud to offer one of the best croquet venues in Australasia. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor exploring this captivating area, our club provides a perfect spot to unwind and play.

Experience Croquet Your Way

At Nelson Hinemoa Croquet Club, we cater to diverse interests with two main forms of the game: the classic Association Croquet and the quicker, more dynamic Golf Croquet. New players start with Golf Croquet, learning the basics through our affordable introductory package of four coaching sessions for $20, which also includes access to social play on designated club days. Membership is budget-friendly, with first-year fees at an additional $80 and subsequent full fees at $220 annually. Mallet hire is available for $50 per year if you’re not ready to invest in your own. Our regular sessions include Golf Croquet on Tuesdays and Sundays from 12:30 to 4:00 pm, and Association Croquet on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12:30 to 3:00 pm.

We love hosting groups at Nelson Hinemoa Croquet Club, making it an ideal choice for corporate outings, social gatherings, or school excursions. Our dedicated members are ready to guide you through the game, ensuring everyone has a memorable experience with all necessary equipment provided. Group rates are $15 per person for corporate or social visits, while school group costs can be arranged separately. Additionally, our Pavilion is available for hire under specific conditions, offering a great space for events, with alcohol permitted only in or around the Pavilion area.
