Location and Directions

Based in the Gate Pa suburb of Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty, the club meets at St George Church Hall on 1 Church Street. This central venue offers easy access for locals and supports regular evening training that fits around daily routines. The connection to the area allows the club to serve the local community directly through consistent weekly classes.

Getting Involved at Martial Arts Tauranga

Classes run for two hours on Monday and Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8:15pm. New participants can join by contacting Alan Orr to learn more about the schedule and what to expect. Training options include focusing on a single art or combining different styles during sessions.

• Instruction by Alan Orr, 10th Degree Black Belt in Chu Sau Lei Wing Chun and BJJ black belt
• Arts offered include Wing Chun, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, Eskrima, Kickboxing, Tai Ji, Qi Gong and Hung Gar Kung Fu
• Two-hour sessions held Monday and Wednesday evenings
• Option to train one art or mix and match across disciplines
