Hutt Valley Fencing Club
Hutt Valley Fencing Club offers fencing for all ages at all levels - beginners, advanced, social and competitive. It is based in Upper and Lower Hutt with clubtooms at St Bernards College, Chilton St James and Upper Hutt College. The club maintains high safety standards. It has a professional coach, and a team of junior volunteer coaches, who are all dedicated to the sport. HVFC fencers compete regularly in local, national, and international competitions. Newcomers are welcome to go along for a free tryout. They provide new fencers with access to club gear until you purchase your own. The club is affiliated through Fencing Central to Fencing New Zealand, the body responsible for the sport in New Zealand.
