The Hokowhitu Bridge Club Story

At Hokowhitu Bridge Club, members enjoy the thrill of bridge in a supportive environment that caters to players of all ages and skill levels. Our club provides access to mixed-grade sessions, ensuring everyone can participate regardless of experience. Benefits include the chance to play regularly, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and improve your game in a relaxed setting. Sessions are held on Wednesdays at 7:15 pm and Thursdays at 1:15 pm, both open to all participants. Table money is a straightforward $8 per player per session, making it accessible for ongoing involvement.

For visitors, we extend a warm invitation to join any playing session. If you arrive with a partner, simply come 5-10 minutes early to the session of your choice. Need a partner? Contact the session convenor ahead of time. Casual visitors are encouraged to play for a month or more, offering a low-pressure way to experience our club. New members can apply through our Chair or Secretary, with annual fees set at $125. Those already affiliated with another NZ Bridge club receive a reduced rate of $95. Special rates apply for veteran members aged 90 and over at $90, and youth members under 26 at $70, ensuring our club remains suitable for everyone interested in bridge.
