Heritage Park Rhododendron Gardens
A place for garden and plants people to help conserve an important park of NZ gardening history. We meet Saturday mornings monthly for working bees taking care of the grounds and maintaining and planting new gardens in a peaceful environment filled with bird song.

Heritage Park Rhododendron Gardens brings together garden and plant people who share a passion for conserving an important piece of New Zealand gardening history. Members enjoy the social side of the club, forming friendships while working side by side in a peaceful environment. The monthly Saturday morning working bees create a steady rhythm of connection, where conversation flows naturally amid the sounds of bird song as everyone contributes to the grounds.
Getting to Heritage Park Rhododendron Gardens
Based in Kimbolton in the Manawatū-Whanganui region, the club offers a straightforward way for locals and visitors to get involved. New members are welcome to join the established group of around 80 people who meet regularly to care for the rhododendron gardens and surrounding plantings.
