Serving Gisborne, the Gisborne Choral Society offers weekly choir rehearsals and concerts of major works for singers of all levels in a friendly community setti

Why Gisborne Choral Society

The Gisborne Choral Society brings together a community choir of more than 30 members for regular weekly rehearsals. Singers take part in both sectional and full rehearsals, typically held on Monday nights, working through a variety of musical genres. The group focuses on preparing and performing concerts that include major choral works such as Handel’s Messiah and Mozart masses. All new members are welcome to join these sessions and contribute to the choir’s ongoing activities.
