At Gisborne Bridge Club, you'll discover a range of engaging contract bridge activities designed for players of varying experience. Our small, friendly club focuses on the enjoyment of all contract bridge players, offering opportunities to play, learn, and socialise in a supportive environment. Regular weekly sessions include scratch play, open and intermediate championships, pairs events, handicap play, and junior tournaments, catering to confident juniors through to open players, as well as all comers.

Sessions run on Monday evenings at 7pm for scratch play, open and intermediate championship and pairs events; Wednesday afternoons at 1.15pm for scratch and handicap play, championship pairs and pairs events; Thursday evenings at 7pm for junior championship and pairs events where everyone is welcome; and Friday afternoons at 1.15pm for handicap play with pairs events. All sessions have a $5 table money fee, and players are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early for chit chat and catch-ups. Convenors are available for each session: Caroline Kirkpatrick (021 460 448) for Mondays, Louise Goodhue (021 078 9190) for Wednesdays, Jill Smith (027 575 2498) for Thursdays, and Glenys Evans (06 867 8021) for Fridays.
