For anyone interested in travelling to parts of the world with like-minded friends being home hosted in a safe and interesting environment, or enjoy hosting members from overseas when they visit our club. In the last 15 years, our club has travelled to clubs in USA, Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, Sweden, UK and Latvia and Australia. We have hosted clubs from USA, Taiwan, New Caledonia, Canada, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, UK, and Brazil. Background: Founded in 1977, it is a world-wide organisation with several hundred clubs, 10 of which are located in New Zealand. The aim is to create friendships between the peoples of the world through the exchange of goodwill ambassadors.'A world of friends is a world of peace'. As well as Outbound and Inbound Journeys, Friendship Force Taupo members have regular social events, details of which can be found on our Website and Facebook page. We also meet for coffee on the 2nd and 4th Thursday each month 10.00am at different venues which may be obtained by ringing the phone number. Visitors are always welcome. It is expected that the annual fee for 2026 will be approximately $70.
