Dunedin Sixties Plus
The Dunedin 60+ Club is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation with membership open to retired or semi-retired people. Most of the club's activities are during the daytime. The role of the Club is to promote friendship, fellowship and fun, and to encourage members to remain active and contributing members of the whole community. Dunedin 60+ is independent of any political party, trade union, religion, or other retired person organisation. To join contact the coordinator, or go along to a Club meeting. A membership form is also available to complete online on the website. A membership Fee is due on 1 April each year. The monthly Club meeting has a door fee, which covers the venue and other costs. Some activities require a small fee to cover expenses. Activities/groups include; walkers, line dancers, entertainers, hikers, ramblers, trampers, tavern lunches, book clubs, craft and chat, culture and coffee, leisure marchers, movies, card making, photography and cyclers - see website for more details and contacts for each.
