This not-for-profit association has operated since 1959, providing activities that foster well-being and help reduce isolation among elderly, lonely and disabled people. Venue Details

The Friendship Centres are located across Auckland, with one based in Royal Oak. Most centres operate from 9:30am to 12:30pm, making them straightforward to attend on a regular basis, while one runs in the afternoon from 1:30pm to 4pm. The spread of 16 centres operated by Communicare CMA AK INC, along with seven run by a sister organisation on the North Shore, means options are available in many Auckland suburbs for easy participation.
