Christchurch Squash Club: The Club Experience

Christchurch Squash Club offers members a well-equipped squash environment with eight glass-back singles courts and four doubles courts, the only doubles courts available in Canterbury. The temperature-controlled bar, kitchen and lounge provide comfortable spaces to relax after play, while coaching is available for those looking to improve their game. Members are registered with mySquash and Squash NZ, gaining seven-day access to the facilities. A pay-to-play option exists for non-members who wish to use the courts occasionally. The club maintains a steady membership of around 400 people and has been operating since 1958.

Located in Cashmere, Christchurch, Canterbury, the club sits in a convenient suburban setting that makes it straightforward for local players to attend regular sessions. Members and visitors can reach the venue easily within the Christchurch area, supporting both weekday and weekend participation.

Getting Involved at Christchurch Squash Club

Regular activities include a senior club night on Wednesdays from 7pm and a club day on Saturdays from 3pm to 5pm. Junior club night runs on Fridays from 6pm to 7pm during the school term. Interclub competitions take place on Mondays and Tuesdays, with separate fees applying for these events and other competitions.
